• September 12-13: Statewide 10 Great Dates Leader’s Training for University of West Virginia’s Extension Service and over 20 marriage and family coalitions 

• September 24: 10 Great Dates Seminar at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church Jacksonville, Florida

• In October 10 Great Dates Seminars in Europe: October 7-8th near Tuebingen, Southern Germany, October 22nd in Berlin, and October 26th in Vienna,Austria 

What a summer! We like most of you experienced a most unusual summertime. Here it was the hottest July ever in Washington DC. Then the earthquake, followed by hurricane Irene. Then last week torrential rains that washed out several of our one lane bridges close to us. We weathered it all well and thankfully had no real damage to our home. Just a lot of clean-up. 

Now for the positive. Also this summer we led10 Great DatesTrain-the-Trainer sessions at three national conferences: Houston, Albuquerque and Marquette University in Milwaukee. Thanks for praying for us. The “Dating Wave” continues.

Now a busy fall season is upon us as we continue to help churches and organizations catch that “Dating Wave” that is sweeping the country. 

First up this week is a Leader’s Training for 10 Great Dates in West Virginia.  Sponsored by the University of West Virginia’s Extension Service and over 20 marriage and family coalitions from across the state. The conference is Healthy Families Healthy Children. 

We will speak at the banquet this Monday night, September 12th, and then lead the training this Tuesday. They expect close to seventy leaders to attend the training which will make it one of the largest one day trainings we have done.

September 24th we will be leading a 10 Great Dates Seminar at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

Then October 2nd we are off to Europe for three seminars and helping to launch the new 10 Great Dates German DVDcurriculum:

• October 7-8th near the University town of Tuebingen, Southern Germany
• October 22nd in Berlin, Germany
• October 26th in Vienna, Austria
